London Guided Busway
A different approach…
London Guided Busway is a radical proposal to provide a fast and congestion-free route for buses and coaches between the M1, A1 outer London suburbs, the North Circular Road and through to Central London.
By using underutilised land next to railway lines we propose a streamlined, guided bus route from Brent Cross into Marylebone Station. Providing a quick, economic route for commuters and visitors alike.
A guided bus is just like a standard bus with a small adaptation to its wheels, this allows it to follow a twin track formed from reinforced concrete with vertical guide kerbs.
Guided buses can travel on ‘normal’ roads too – this gives huge flexibility in transport terms, as the buses can continue from the guided route on to other destinations and vice versa.Share on Facebook
